2nd Annual Holiday Helper 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run at The Point Deemed a Success


Littleton - The Point, Littleton’s premier open-air shopping center hosted, the Littleton Park and Recreation’s 2nd Annual Holiday Helper 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, December 8th. The race course began at O’neil Cinemas and traveled on a loop through The Point and Route 119.




In conjunction with the Fun Run, Tavern in the Square held a fundraiser on December 3rd in which 15% of sales were donated to the Holiday Helper program. The Littleton Park and Recreation Department is pleased that proceeds from both these events raised nearly $2,750 for the Holiday Helper program. Littleton Parks & Recreation Assistant Director Tim Michalski said that the raised funds will help nearly 50 children in need over the holiday season.

Despite the cold weather, 102 runners dressed up in their favorite holiday attire for the race. Participants received a long-sleeve shirt, finisher medal, and a drawstring bag full of coupons to favorite places at The Point. Awards were presented to runners inside O’Neil Cinema after the race.
